CHISEL
STRIPPER
EFFECTIVE STRIPPING WITHOUT
MACHINE SCRUBBING
POTENT FORMULA STRIPS
COMPLETELY THE FIRST TIME

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
CHISEL STRIPPER has been carefully
formulated to remove heavy accumulations
of acrylic, natural or synthetic floor finishes
without scrubbing. Dust mop entire floor to
remove loose dust and dirt. Prepare a
stripping solution by diluting 16 to 32
ounces of CHISEL STRIPPER per gallon of
cool water. Recommended dilution rates are
based upon floors with an accumulation of
10 coats of applied floor finish. To ensure
proper solution strength, apply diluted
product to a small area of floor. If stripping
solution does not cut through all
accumulated finish, add more CHISEL
STRIPPER. Flood floor with stripping
solution with a wet mop. Allow the stripping
solution to remain on the floor for 5 to 10
minutes. Do not allow stripping solution to
dry on floor. After 5 minutes, agitate “turn
over” stripping solution on with stripping
mop. This action puts fresh solution in
contact with floor to complete the stripping
process. Pick up the stripping/finish residue
with a wet vac or autoscrubber. Damp mop
floor with clean, cool water and a clean
mop.
PROFESSIONAL SECRETS TO EFFECTIVE
FLOOR CARE:
• Stripping solution should always be
prepared just prior to use.
• Always dry mop before starting any
stripping operation - Unremoved dirt and
dust can damage floors during scrubbing
operations.
• Use only cool water when diluting CHISEL
STRIPPER. Cool water slows down the
evaporation of volatile stripping agents to
prevent drying on floor.
• Use a small piece of a scrubbing pad or a
doodle bug to remove marks.
• Use a separate mop and bucket for
stripping and damp mopping operations.
Accumulated residues on stripper mop left
on floor could prevent bonding of finish
coats.
