DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a
manner inconsistent with its label.
This algaecide is used to control the growth of algae in
swimming pools, exterior spas, whirlpools, hot tubs and
decorative fountains. For maximum effectiveness, pools,
spas, whirlpools and decorative fountains containing heavy
growth of algae should be cleaned prior to using this
product.
For pools having just visible algae growth, add an initial
dose of 75 to 116 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons of water
and remove the settle algae debris by cleaning. For treatment
of freshly cleaned and filled pools, add initially 41 to 75 fluid
ounces per 10,000 gallons of water. Subsequent additions of
13.6 to 27 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons of water should
be made every 5 to 7 days after initial treatment for
maintenance.
Spas, whirlpools, hot tubs and decorative fountains having
just visible algae growth require an initial dose of 8 to 12
ounces per 1,000 gallons of water. For treatment of a freshly
cleaned and filled spa, whirlpool, hot tub or decorative
fountain, add initially 4 to 8 ounces per 1,000 gallons of
water. Subsequent additions of 1 to 3 fluid ounces should be
made every 5 to 7 days after initial treatment for
maintenance.
This algaecide is compatible with chemicals normally used to
treat pools, spas and decorative fountains, and is effective at
both acid and alkaline pH. It can be used in pools, spas and
decorative fountains treated with chlorine chemicals and may
reduce the amount of those chemicals normally required.
However, do not mix with concentrated dry or liquid chlorine
products.
